Schletter, Inc.
Schletter purchased the 100,000 SF Shelby Spec Industrial Building for their new East Coast Headquarters. The scope involved new mechanical and electrical systems, an addition of office space, along with a mezzanine inside the existing structure. Special foundations were installed for some of the heavy process equipment. Site work included additional parking for 100 vehicles, including truck access, to the drive thru bay and around the building.
The building was expanded by over 40,000 SF to accommodate two drive-through truck bays and two 15 ton bridge cranes. The expansion was designed using pre-cast concrete panels to match the existing building and included an expansion wall of architectural metal to allow for further growth of the company.
