Matthews Construction Co., Inc. was recently featured in the Hickory Times for the work on the Penelope Baptist Church in Long View, NC. Director of Operations Steve Yount and welder Robby Bolick were both recognized. This church was destroyed by a fire in 2009, resulting in a gutted sanctuary. Although the schedule has been delayed due to weather, Matthews Construction is working hard to complete a project and get the congregation back into their building.
