This is an 116,000-square-foot food processing facility for Cenex Harvest States Cooperatives of Minneapolis, MN. This facility was a turn-key design/build project with sanitation as the key element of its design. The building is constructed of structural precast concrete wall panels and precast roof double tees. The design incorporates the strict requirements of the US Department of Agriculture and the American Institute of Baking for food processing facilities. This facility produces tortilla chips, corn and flour tortillas and will be the principle supplier of these products for Harvest States Foods on the east coast.
