Valley Hills Mall Hickory, North Carolina Matthews Construction Co., Inc. was awarded the new 50,000 square foot Food Court contract through the competitive bid process. During construction, the owner made a decision to negotiate construction of two new parking decks totaling over 200,000 square feet, a 50,000 square foot addition of retail space and a major renovation to the entire interior mall common area. |

renovation project was completed after the mall had closed for the
day to minimize disruptions to normal operations.
